Business Challenge

Getinge Castle, a leading international of sterilization, disinfecting, and surgical products needed a commission reporting system for its North American and Latin American sales and service employees. The client implemented a new MOVEX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that did not provide the capability to track order and shipment information changes in such a way so as to correctly change and track commissions. In addition, the bonus and commission functionality of the MOVEX system did not adequately reflect the business processes used by the client. Solution

LPA Systems consultants developed a comprehensive custom commission application that was integrated with the MOVEX system. The application extracts order and shipment data from the MOVEX ERP system. The employee's financial and personnel information are fed to the application from other systems, within strict guidelines of security and confidentiality. The application performs commission calculations, provides reports, and then updates the MOVEX payroll module for actual commission payments. The results of the calculations are communicated to the employee using a detailed commission reports provide by the custom application.

Commission plan parameters can be modified as required by administrators through use of custom data maintenance module.
